Very polite and nice staff. Very good and tasty food. We took mix of fishes, it was enough for two. We had sangria, which was with forest fruit, it was like no wine inside, but we like it. We got digestives with the payment, that we appreciated. The price was very good, until now the best on Fishermen’s trail. I recommend.

Our best meal in Odeceixe! We visited for dinner on last evening of our stay, and it did not disappoint. The fried pork with sweet potatoes is a must-try — we loved it so much, we ordered it twice! The fish was also incredibly fresh. For dessert, both the cheesecake and orange cake were delicious. The service was fantastic — warm, friendly, and welcoming. Prices are reasonable for the quality. We’d happily return and highly recommend it!

One of the best restaurants in the town for sure. The food we had was fresh and delicious, so was the service. The grill is just by the outside sitting area and also has a display to choose fish from. Though the wine selection is not too big. The sitting area is nice - few with benches and few with chairs!! Overall a very nice experience!!

The best fish and the best service of all times! The waiter was the most attentive and yet not ireitating in any way. Great house wine, perfectly seasoned fish right from the grill (and the iced show-case). Would go to portugal again just to visit this place.

They have a vegan Feijoada on the menu that was tasty and delightful! Comes with rice. 12.50€ I think that the only vegetarian / vegan / plantbased option. There are vegetarian desserts though Bread was 1.40€ for 5-6 slices, that was fair and perfect with the olive oil available at the table. I was outside in the shades. I had a great time!

Amazing, authentic local food, fresh fish, and very moderate prices. I had the Cataplana and during lunch time the mixed grilled fish with vegetables, salad and potatoes. Both were absolutely fantastic. The vinho branca is refreshing and fruity, can recommend. Unfortunately, the portions are more than decent so I never had capacity to try out the desserts.

One of the best Portuguese meals I've ever had. Even the olive oil on the table is delicious. The fish stews are hearty, with generous helpings of seafood and fish. This restaurant is not just a tourist place, also locals go there, which makes the vibe very rustic and comfy. I recommend the fish macaroni with shrimps and the mussels. For dessert I took the nut with honey cake, which was a bit too sweet for my taste, but also good.

Best meal I had in my last Portugal visit. From what I see .. this is The Restaurant to visit in the village of Odeceixe. Authentic Portuguese regional food - might be the only one here that offers that. Big menu on offer from grilled option to cooked meals. I had octopus salad for starters, sea food bean stew for main (today's dish) and sweet potato roll for dessert. Everything was awesome - has a side note I can say the stew had a sea food:beans ratio of 50/50 - .. has a Portuguese myself you can taste that every thing was fresh (they have a disclaimer on the menu that says that not all sea food/fish migh not be available depending on the fisherman and sea conditions). It's super crowded - I went in August in peak season - so it's recommended to book table. Nice outdoor seating. Average to high prices.

We enjoyed our dinner at Chaparro. We had Red Snapper that was fresh and a large quantity. We also had the pork and chorizo. Both were excellent and came with potatoes, vegetables and Salad. We also had olives and a litre of house wine. All were excellent and cost €35. An economical and very tasty dinner. The waiter was very attentive. We are walking the Rota Vicentina and enjoyed a hearty dinner

As a family of 8 with a baby we were welcomed warmly and served very quickly. The food was delicious (sea bream, salmon, bean stew, mixed grilled fish, pork), we would return any time.

This was the most delicious food we have eaten during our holiday. Also the entourage and the staff were lovely and very kind. We will come again! Tip: the clams and as a dessert different kinds of tarte.

Our host recommended this place for dinner. We have spent a very nice evening here. I ate fresh grilled fish, my girlfriend found a delicious vegan dish. This restaurant is one of the unique places where a meatlover and a vegan are able to eat nicely. Our waiter recommended us a local liqour, which was very good, so we had to reorder it :) In summary, if you want to eat a delicious traditional meal in a restaurant where the service is very friendly and professional, you found the place :)
